Annia Ciezadlo, Journalist
Annia writes about food, war and politics, not necessarily in that order. She spent the past decade and a half in the Middle East, where she was a special correspondent for The Christian Science Monitor in Baghdad and The New Republic in Beirut. Her book Day of Honey: A Memoir of Food, Love, and War won multiple awards and has been translated into Portuguese, Polish, Italian, and Dutch.
