Christopher Tyree

Christopher Tyree has more than 20 years of international reporting experience as a photojournalist, writer and filmmaker. His photojournalism has been recognized by the National Press Photographer’s Association, Pictures of the Year International and the Associated Press to name a few. His documentary films have garnered nationwide theatrical releases and won awards at many film festivals. He has been published in the New York Times, The Washington Post, Time, Newsweek, US News and World Report, People and Life Magazine as well as many international periodicals.

Naja Nielsen

Naja is Orb's editorial lead. She is responsible for Orb's journalism and editorial team ensuring all reporting meets Orb's high standards of documentation, impartiality, human interest, and curiosity. Before joining Orb she led the Danish national public broadcaster's news department for 10 years in various roles from Head of News, to Editor-in-Chief of the Evening News, and Election Coverage Chief Editor. She has been a Visiting Scholar to Stanford University and serves on the Advisory Boards of Constructive Institute and News Xchange.

Addie Owusu

As Orb's Production Assistant, Addie is responsible for project managing the editorial team. She supports the team by streamlining the processes Orb uses in curating global stories. Before joining Orb, Addie coordinated logistics for the sales team at Menkiti Group, a real estate company in the District of Columbia. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia with degrees in Women, Gender and Sexualities, and Politics.
